Mudie Series - Military Medals by James Mudie
In 1820, a set of 40 medals was issued by James Mudie to commemorate British victories over the French spanning a 20 year period, from 1797 to 1817. The medals depicted important military and naval events during the reign of George III, and were produced in silver and bronze, all measuring 41 mm in diameter.
